Met Bar

The Met Bar is situated at the front of the hotel, along MacCurtain Street. It is a spacious, elegant and traditional style bar, split over two levels. The upper level boasts a large screen for those Champions League or Heineken Cup evenings, and the lower level has a more serene feel to it, ideal for a quiet chat or negotiating your way through a few more chapters of your latest novel.

The bar possesses a wonderful relaxing and intimate ambience; it is furnished with comfortable two and three seater sofas and is home to an original collection of artwork.

Morning coffee is served everyday from 10am, with a selection of fresh baked scones and pastries, the perfect accompaniment to one of our fine teas or freshly brewed coffee. Midweek we provide and un-rivaled lunch value of great choice and value, with full lunches being served from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Outside of these hours we serve a delightful selection of savouries, which includes mouth watering homemade pate, and a selection of the very finest Irish farmhouse cheeses, as well as the traditional selection of homemade soup and fresh cut sandwiches.

Come the evening time, the Met Bar livens up, along with the friendliness of the Team, lead by Mary Mellerick, provides a fabulous location for a relaxing drink.
