This modern 80 seater Restaurant has magnificient and unique views looking over Cork's famous River Lee. While dining in the restaurant spectacular views of Cork's bridges and city centre shopping areas can be seen.

The atmosphere is relaxing in this busy vibrant restaurant, with subdued lighting and unobtrusive music. Guests are served by friendly and professional staff who have been trained by Restaurant Manager, Igor Vleck. Igor has an intuitive sense of what his guests enjoy, and his knowledge of food and wine is very enlightening.

Working behind the scenes, the Head Chef, Noel Bridgeman and his team look forward to being of service to our guests. Noel has been with the Gresham Metropole Hotel since the early 60's, and has been Head Chef for more years than he cares to remember. He has witnessed the many changes over the years in the diner's tastes and has adapted with each decade to all of them.

Noel's menu now caters for traditional palates, but has influences from all parts of the globe, using the very best of local produce to create a truly mouth watering experience. The Table D'Hote dinner menu is remarkable value, and guests may also choose at random from the popular A la Carte menu.
